The Best Color Combo Ever!

...Debatable but these colors are making me pretty happy right now :)

I have made a hair scarf from the floral fabric and used the other fabrics as the ties to new necklaces.

I'm going to attempt to make a "scarf-necklace" out of the watercolor floral print.

Two Queen Annes

I found a pair of queen anne chairs from a thrift store and just love the curvy front legs!

The cushions are a bit out of date...

So I recovered them! and sprayed the fabric with fabric protectant.

Now it was time to sand down the chairs.

Even Catherine joined me with her own project.

After primer and several coats of paint they were complete. Finally!

Chairs paired with matching placemats.

Patterned Object Purses

Here are some photos of purses that I made this past spring. They were for a class that I took called Patterned Object. We were asked to design the fabric, print the pattern and then construct anything! First I drew diamonds and water-colored them pink and the same for the green vines. The water-colors were scanned into the computer and printed out on the fabric. I chose to design and construct a purse collection.

At the end of the semester, our class even had a little gallery opening which was a fun experience and a great honor so show my stuff.
