Anthropologie Inspired

This weekend I was inspired by the window displays at Anthropologie in Charlottesville.

Blue and green paint cans.

After my detective work, I have come to the conclusion that canvases were painted different shades of blue and then cut into smaller squares. The pieces were then placed in different spots, mixing up the colors. Most of the squares were on the back wall, while a few were on the store front glass, this gave the display depth.

Everyday, I continue to be inspired by colors for my 2012 spring/summer jewelry!

A custom cowl scarf for my friend Anne.

She mentioned wanting a pink and black cowl scarf, so I decided to knit the cowl half and half....After discussing with Anne, she decided that cranberry and black would be the best colors so she could wear it with her black winter coat.
