Happy Thanksgiving Day Card

With feathers stamped from a flower petal stamp and a small treat container filled with reese's pieces a Thanksgiving turkey card was made! So cute... gobble, gobble!

Fabric verses ribbon?

For this necklace I tried something different... braided fabric instead of ribbon. I'm still on the fence on whether I'll keep the fabric or switch to ribbon. What do you think?

Remember those fruit wedges?

Did you ever have those wedge-like fruity desserts on your lunch tray in elementary school? Well that's exactly what these gift boxes reminded me of. These are perfect for a party favor to stuff candy into or as a small gift box.

These two were made for April... for her friends' wedding gift (notice the wedding cake tag).

These cards were commissioned by the lovely Janet. This is a pack of five cards, each with a matching envelope. Simple with a 'hello' tag yet sophisticated with a colorful medallion stamp.

Placemats

So I thought my chairs would get a little lonely, so I've sewed some matching placemats. Really simple!

I cut two layers of fabric at 12" x 17" (so my finished size will be 11" x 16"). (Repeat for a second, etc. placemat.)

Place them together with the patterns facing eachother, and pin in place.

Then sew them together. I allowed for a half inch seam all the way around. And left about 2" to flip the placemat right side out.

To finish them off, I sew around the edges at a quarter inch from the edge.
